Research:
I am a microbiologist with expertise in extremophiles, particularly halophilic archaea, and their adaptations to extreme environments. My research employs an interdisciplinary approach, integrating physiological assays, advanced microscopy, and high-throughput transcriptomics to investigate the response of these microorganisms to heavy metal stress. Focusing on the biosynthesis of metallic nanoparticles and gene expression modulation, my work seeks to uncover the molecular mechanisms underpinning metal tolerance and adaptation. This approach contributes to understanding microbial resilience and offers insights into biotechnological applications and environmental remediation strategies in saline ecosystems.
